How did you get into skateboarding?:

Everyone steps on a skateboard at some point, I just never stepped off.

What are your most memorable times skateboarding?:

Skatesgiving 2011, Munnsvile/Madison County Gravity Fest, Ascutnet Vermont 2007, North Carolina Freeride 2007, skating with Ben Raybourn and the Ipath team at a demo a few years ago.

Which skateboarders have influenced you the most?:

Mike Vallely, Mark Gonzales, Ian Comishin, Radiation Ray and Phat Dean, Justin Metcalf and anyone who has shared their love of skating with me.

What advice do you give to a new rider?:

Don't just longboard, there's way too much terrain to put your wheels on. Hit the bowl, skate a ledge or some stairs. Even if you don't go full out into every aspect it all translates and helps you get beyond mental blocks that prevent you from progressing.

What keeps you skating?:

Nothing else is nearly as awesome, fun or rewarding in my life.
