How did you get into skateboarding?:

In about 2003, I first tried it, and was hooked. I bought a board with my last $200, and started bombing every hill I could find. After my buddy, and fellow Pagan Coop got a board, we really started to push each other and go fast.

What are your most memorable times skateboarding?:

I've been lucky enough to meet and rip with some of the best riders in the world. So many memories! Brazil in 2009, super rad even though Teutonia was rained out. Shredding my local haunts with Rizzo and K-rimes after the first BBDH. Finishing 6th at Jakes Rash in the rain in 2010, beating some heavy hitters. Every trip up into the high country with friends is memorable!

What advice do you give to a new rider?:

Wear a helmet. Stay in your lane. Figure out your style and be yourself. Don't geek out over techy gear, girls will think you're a tool.
